The new season was expected to arrive on Netflix UK on Saturday (6th June) but the streaming service has announced the episode has been delayed due to “factors beyond our control”.
It is due to return the following Saturday (13th June) with a double dosage of two new episode to watch. The series will continue as normal afterwards weekly after this date.
Like the other seasons, All Stars 5 will see 10 drag queens return to fight for a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame and win a grand prize of $100,000.
All Stars sees the return of fan favourites from the series history, and this year’s contestants include Alexis Mateo, Blair St. Clair, Derrick Barry and Ongina.
Before the season launch, RuPaul announced a huge All Stars twist, with All Stars rules “suspended forever”.
This revamp is a huge change to the final lip-sync: each week a queen will be challenged to slay a secret assassin from previous seasons.
Let’s hope All Stars 5 does return next week and creates a memorable season.
